The new month begins with great news and bigger achievement for all Cross Riverians and the governor. It’s rare to accomplish the vision of past administration but Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the people’s governor of Cross River has changed the narratives.
“Yesterday, we received the official navigational chart and technical report for the Bakassi Deep Seaport, a major step toward making Cross River a maritime and economic powerhouse.
This replaces maps dating back to 1903 and confirms once and for all that Cross River is a littoral state.
With this milestone, and the coastal highway underway, we are unlocking massive opportunities in trade, shipping, tourism, and job creation.
We’re building on the foundation laid by former Governor, Sir Benedict Ayade CON, and now await final approval from the Federal Executive Council to begin full construction.
Cross River is ready.
Nigeria is ready.
The future has begun.”
